Storz Performance Harley-Davidson XR1200 accessories

Steve Storz said that after he left Milwaukee in 1979 after working as a racing mechanic for the Harley-Davidson factory dirt-track team, his plan for his business was to supply tuning services and parts for AMA Pro Dirt Track competitors riding H-D XR750 racing machines.
He's expanded on that plan since then, and the latest Storz offerings include accessories for the 2008-09 H-D XR1200 streetbike.

The list starts with a new 2:2 high pipe dirt-track-style exhaust system by BUB. It's available in chrome or black ceramic finish with wraparound heat shields covering the head pipes.

Next up are the Storz YSS Racing Shocks that feature massive 36mm pistons and 16mm shafts. They have individual adjustments for compression and rebound damping as well as a piggyback-style reservoir with a bladder to separate the oil and gas. Spring preload and ride height are adjustable, so it is possible to increase the overall shock length from stock if desired. A choice of spring rates is also available. They sell for $989 for a pair.

The Solo Seat Tail Section has a lightweight racing-type fiberglass tail section that replaces the stock tail section and eliminates the stock passenger seat pad. It is supplied unpainted in white gelcoat finish and is compatible with the stock XR1200 seat pad, or it will also accept the new Saddlemen seat pad. It bolts on in place of the stock tail section using existing hardware and MSRP is $355.

Storz also has a billet-aluminum Rearset Footpeg Kit with a more compact shift linkage system, Storz/Ceriani Adjustable Steering Damper Kit, a Saddlemen Seat pad, and a Brake Tech Full Floating Front Disc Kit.
