Many riding boots are great when they are planted on footpegs while zipping along on two wheels, but not so great when it's time to park and walk, for both looks and comfort reasons. But wearing regular street shoes when riding wears out the shift area and the soles – and they are not made to protect feet and ankles when riding motorcycles. To answer this conundrum, Shift Racing has the new Kicker Street Shoes, which combines motorcycle-specific protection with a good-looking street shoe, and they are made to be comfy on and off the bike.
The chassis of the Kicker is constructed from genuine and synthetic leathers for stability and protection. Non-slip soles keep feet planted at stops. A reinforced midsole gives additional strength on the footpegs.

Inside, breathable moisture-wicking materials make for happy feet, while the medial and lateral plastic reinforcements protect ankles from impact and abrasion. A molded-polyurethane outsole gives the shoes extra durability and comfort. The direct-inject rubber material on the toe box is grippy for shifting. The shoe secures snugly with an alloy buckle that latches on the outside, so precious paint won't get scuffed when tucked in at speed or climbing on and off the bike.

The buckle straps keep laces from tangling in a chain or catching on parts, and a lower lace cover keeps laces from snagging on pegs or pedals. The Shift Kicker Street Shoes come in black or black/white and in sizes 7-14.
