Scott USA Airborne and Assault MX Helmets

The Airborne (pictured left) and the Assault are two new helmets from Scott USA: The Airborne is the lighter one, made with a carbon-fiber hybrid shell. It has an impact-absorbing tri-density EPS liner that covers the head crown, front and rear. It has a high-flow vent system and a stainless-steel mouth vent. The visor can be adjusted without tools and Scott gives you an extra visor along with a soft helmet bag. The nonslip goggle-eyeport gasket is compatible with Scott goggles.

Airborne Circuit

The Assault is made with an alloy-injection-molded PC shell and it has a dual-density EPS liner, which extends into the chinbar. There are dual vent intakes and multi-vent exhausts to cool the wearer of the Assault, and a kids' version is available for less than $100.

The liners and cheekpads in both helmets are removable and washable. The Airborne and the Assault both exceed the DOT and Snell standards and are approved for use in AMA Racing. There are many choices in graphics, with just a handful of them pictured here.
