Motion Pro has its roots in racing (the company was founded in 1984 by Christopher Carter, who was a gold-medal winner in the prestigious six-days ISDT) and the goal of Motion Pro is to make tools that are simple to use, yet durable enough to withstand the harshest conditions – tools that make difficult, time-consuming jobs much easier. Here are some of the clever tools the company has for 2010:
The Bead Buddy II ($14.99) is a new and improved design of the original Bead Buddy. It's made from durable 6061 aluminum and has a blue anodized finish with a laser-engraved Motion Pro logo. It's used to push the tire bead down into the drop center of the rim for off-road wheels, changing a tire. It hooks over the spoke and pushes the bead down on opposite side of the tire from tire irons. Motion Pro says it's a must for installing Bib Mousse tubes.
The Deluxe Piston Pin Puller ($71.99) has interchangeable piston adapters for use on both long skirt and short skirt (slipper) pistons. Iit fits all piston pins from 12mm (1/2 inch) to 24 mm (1 inch) and is made of 6061 aluminum with non-marring aluminum adapters and durable blue anodized finish.

Armor Rim Strip Tape (18-19-inch wheels $7.75 and 21-inch wheels $7.25) is an ultra-tough and durable material for protecting your tire tubes – Motion Pro says it won't shift or move like rubber rim strips. It has a pre-cut hole for the valve and self-adhesive backing for a simple, clean installation.

A Motion Pro Air Gauge Holder ($24.99) is designed for use with the Motion Pro Professional and Digital Tire Gauges. It has a magnet on the back so it can be quickly mounted to any metal surface, or it can be permanent mounting without the magnet. The design of the gauge holder has number-plate graphics with space to put a personalized race number.
Stepless Ear Clamps have a 360-degree Stepless design without any gaps on the inner surface, and include specially formed strip edges to reduce the risk of damage to the part being clamped. The narrow 5mm-wide band provides a concentrated seal compression. These clamps are available in a wide range of sizes and are sold in packs of 10 ($8.20).

For installing the Stepless Ear Clamps, Motion Pro has the Side Jaw Pincer Tool ($44.99). Its side-jaw design makes it useful in places where space is restricted.
