HPE exhaust for Buell 1125

Sierra Motorcycle Supply is the exclusive importer of exhausts from Italian company HPE (High Performance Exhaust). In addition to such marques as Maserati, Ferrari and Lamborghini, HPE makes exhausts for Benelli, Bimota, BMW, Ducati, KTM, Moto Guzzi, Moto Morini, MV Agusta, Suzuki, Triumph and, now, HPE makes them for the Buell 1125 lineup. HPE says it is among a select few manufacturers that use Inconel, a material used to make the exhaust manifolds of Formula-One racing cars.

The new slip-on for the Buell 1125s is available with either an integral two-way catalytic converter, or in a "race" version. HPE says that the exhausts are manufactured with extreme precision and complies 100 percent with the exacting demands of professional racing. The material is high-quality, acid-resistant stainless steel. With the db-eater in place, HPE says that the system is superior to the American OEM part, especially in the midrange, where the maker says the exhaust offers noticeably more power than stock. On the race track without the dB eater, riders benefit from more punch and power all across the rev-range. HPE says its  EC-type approval for the system (with the low-down, sonorous rumble) is expected shortly.
