GPR Stabilizers

If you've been to a WORCS race, an AMA Road Race, or World Superbike race, then you've probably seen the GPR rig, because the company makes steering dampers for all types of racers and riders. One of the new GPR applications just out is for the latest models of Ducati Monster 696 and 1100. GPR offers a choice that fits either a standard stock-sized-diameter bar or the fat-bar style. It's available in a choice of six anodized colors with black hardware (call GPR for pricing).

Another new damper is for riders of the Husqvarna 610: The GPRV4 dirt-bike steering damper is used with a trick billet machined road-racing-style post mount that is attached to the steering-head collar (see photo). The steering damper is tucked neatly below the bars, barely raising the bar height at all. This damper is also available in six different colors, but with fat-bar mounts only.

There's a GPRV4 kit for the 2009 Yamaha R1 (left), too,  which does away with the "bat-wing"-style tank mount and replaces it with a much smaller and lighter R6-type mount. You won't need to drill into the bike's frame, as everything in the kit is bolt-on.
