Dirt specialists Utopia, Fly Racing and Moose Racing have some new stuff out for the knobby crowd: Utopia has a quartet of goggles, Fly Racing has 2011 Kinetic gear, and Moose Racing has a clutch cover and a stainless-steel oil filter.
Utopia's four goggles – Slayer MX, Slayer Pro MX, Too Dirty MX, and Warrant MX – all can utilize the CVS roll-off system and come with a lifetime warranty. The lens on each is made from 100-percent Lexan and is scratch-resistant, anti-fogging, and UVA/ UVB protective with tear-off posts.

The Slayer MX's (above left) polyurethane frame has a race-team influenced design and is ventilated. The fleece-lined, double-layer foam soaks up sweat, and the double-buckle is made for easier adjustability, while the jacquard anti-slip silicon strap keeps it in place. The Slayer MX comes in 10 different colorways. The Slayer Pro MX (above right) has the features of the Slayer MX, but the frames are hand-painted and hydro-printed. The foam on the Slayer Pro is triple-layer: The first layer is a tight-density closed-cell foam for a complete face seal, second layer is an open-cell moisture-absorbing foam that pulls sweat away from face and traps within for evaporation, and the thrid is a super-soft sweat-mop fleece for all day comfort. The Slayer Pro has Utopia's Money Clip (also referred as the third clip) for smooth tear-off management. This goggle comes in 10 different colorways.

The Too Dirty MX (above left) has the features of the Slayer MX, along with a large optical area for wider peripheral vision and/or for wearing glasses underneath and comes in nine different colors. The Warrant MX's (above right) frame has an outrigger system for even distribution of pressure and a better fit. The foam is triple layer, like the Slayer Pro and comes with Utopia's Money Clip. Too Dirty MX comes in black, blue, red and white. A detachable noseguard is included with all of these goggles listed, except for the Warrant.
UtopiaSlayer MX's ($44.99), Slayer Pro MX ($59.99), Too Dirty MX ($34.99), Warrant MX's ($64.99)

Fly Racing says that its 2011 Kinetic Racewear is loaded up with race-performance technology, but is priced for the everyday rider's budget. The jersey has mesh sides and forearms for excellent airflow, and the has a stretchy collar and no itchy tag in the collar (it's printed onto the jersey instead) The "shorty" arm cuffs are designed to help reduce arm pump and the extended tail helps keep the jersey tucked in. Colors include yellow/blue, blue/silver, red/grey, green/white, white/gold (pictured), black/grey, orange/grey, and Flash Yellow/purple. Sizes run from adult small to XXL (XXXL available in black/grey only). Youth sizes range from small to XL.

The Kinetic pants are made from high-end materials, but don't have the high-end cost. There's leather heat-shields at the ergonomically-shaped knees that are generously contoured to accomodate knee braces and guards. Multiple stretch panels and with removable elastic band in the cuffs make them a better fit. There's an internal pocket and a mesh liner, and the color choices are the same as the jersey. Sizes run from 18-42, including a 28 Short in all colors, and a size 44 in black/grey only. Kid sizes run from 18-26. The Kinetic gloves have an advanced four-way stretch multi-directional construction. The palm is Clarino and reinforced in all the right areas. The fingers have a split-knuckle design, Lycra gussets, and silicone grippers at the tips. The gloves close up with Velcro and the colors match the rest of the Kinetic gear, in sizes 03-13 all other colors and 01-13 in black/white.
