Fly Racing F2 Carbon Helmet

The F2 Carbon helmet from Fly Racing hit dealer floors on October 1. It's a new, full-on carbon-fiber/ Kevlar helmet that meets the recently revamped and tougher Snell M2010 safety standards. The F2 Carbon has cool new graphics to choose from and is priced right. It uses the same technology found in Fly Racing's MX Formula helmet that's used by MX Pro rider Andrew Short. Not only does it meet the new Snell standard, but it is DOT approved, and meets the standards of other countries, including the ECE and Australia specifications.

The F2 Carbon has a multi-port air-induction cooling system, with 11 intake vents and four exhaust vents, which means it circulates massive amounts of air to keep your head cool – including three that draw air from the goggle area to clear away fog.

The shell is constructed of carbon fiber, Kevlar and fiberglass, and the dual-density EPS liner is designed to help reduce the shock from impacts by creating a more progressive impact absorbtion. The EPS liner and the comfort liner are aligned to maximize airflow, plus the comfort liner can be removed easily for washing.
