A new version of Bell's Star street motorcycle helmet hit dealers' shelves last month. This new version of the Star meets the new Snell-M2010 motorcycle safety standards and has a number of tweaks and upgrades.

One of those tweaks was to the sizing of the medium-sized headform, which some felt was a little too large. Bell also removed seams from the comfort liner to eliminate any pressure points and made the integrated speaker pockets both quieter and easier to use, and they added "MagnaFusion," Bell's new proprietary magnetic strap keeper.
Utilizing its R&D facility in Santa Cruz, California, the Bell engineers designed the Velocity Flow Ventilation system, the lightweight TriMatrix Composite Shell, and the clever 3Mode ClickRelease shield (a shield system that really can be easily swapped in a few seconds).
The Star lids get new graphics to add to an already impressive range of styles. Roland Sands is back with the popular C-Note design (pictured on top left) – and the newest graphics from the Bell stable of artists include the urban, tribal stylings from Jona Cerwinske; the raw, effusive art of Derek Hess; and colorful, iconic images from Chris Wood.
The Bell Star comes in sizes XS-XXL and includes a five-year warranty.
