2009 GSX-R1000 accessories

Trick out your Gixxer thousand

American Suzuki Motor Corporation has some trick add-ons available for its 2009 GSX-R1000.

First up is the only factory-approved windscreen for the GSX-R, which has been custom-molded, sport-touring style. The reshaped polycarbonate screen is two-inches taller than stock for added wind protection, and it has a light smoke tint with a GSX-R logo.

The Carbon-Fiber-Look Covers give your Gixxer Thousand a custom feel.  The Meter and Mirror Covers are made to look like carbon-fiber, but are actually CNC laser cut from ABS plastic.

The Tank Pads and Trim has exterior-grade "memory" urethane so that any impression will disappear in minutes, returning to its original shape. Suzuki says it won't fade, crack, yellow or harden.

The Fender Eliminator kit (top photo) keeps your Gixxer street-legal, while giving the bike's backside an uncluttered and sanitary look. Like the Frame sliders, the Fender Eliminator kit comes with all the necessary hardware.

Pamper yourself with a cushiony gel seat, which uses the OEM hardware and won't need modifications. The seat is branded with a metal GSX-R plate.

The Tank Bra has an embossed logo and is available with textured side panels for traction and grip when you are riding on the edge. These new parts can be found at a Suzuki retailer near you.
