Kenworthy's Pre-Race Notes:

It's about 85 degrees and humid. Most of the riders said the track is really slick and rutted out.

[125cc Moto One]


They are on the parade lap right now. Just a few more minutes until the start...The engines are started and we are waiting for the board to go sideways...The holeshot goes to...Larry Ward followed by Sellards...Sellards takes the lead followed by Reed and Demuth...They go into the trees for about two minutes before we can see them again...

Lap 1 - Reed has made the pass for the lead...He's already got a pretty good lead...Stewart is back in 6th place, now he's up to 5th...Stewart just jumped four whoops and went right past Ward for 4th place...

Lap 2 - Reed has a pretty good lead now but Stewart just passed Sellards for 2nd and he is catching Reed...Running order is Reed, Stewart, Sellards, Smith, Jesseman, Fonseca, Ward, Demuth and Walker...

Lap 3 - Reeds lead is about a second over Stewart, but he is still catching him...Jesseman is the man on the move, he all over Sellards now trying to take 3rd place and maybe start catching the leaders...

Lap 4 - Stewrat now has the lead and Reed has dropped back to 5th place...Now Fonseca is coming up with Jesseman to the front pack...Fonseca has moved into 3rd spot but just went down...

Lap 5 - Running order is Stewart, Sellards, Jesseman, Reed, Smith, Walker, Fonseca, Ward, Demuth...Stewart's lead over the restof the field is about 5 seconds now...

Lap 6 - There's a great battle for 2nd between Sellards, Reed and Jesseman...Walker is moving up now, he's in 5th spot, but Fonseca is right behind him...

Lap 7 - Reed just passed Sellards and moved into 2nd place...Now Jesseman gets by Sellards and is following Reed...Walker is still back in 5th spot, but he's right on Sellards now...

Lap 8 - Stewart's lead is about 10 second over Reed and Jesseman...Runnin order is Stewart, Reed, Jesseman, Sellards, Walker, Fonseca, Smith, Ward and Sorby...

Lap 9 - Reed and Jesseman caught Stewart by 2 seconds that last lap, they are now 8 seconds back...Walker and Fonseca have passed Sellards now to take over 4th and 5th spot...

Lap 10 - These top 5 guys are all going relly fast...Reed picked up another second on Stewart that last lap...Running order is Stewart, Reed, Jesseman, Walker, Fonseca, Sellards, Smith and Ward...

Lap 11 - As the come out of the trees Jesseman has gotten around Reed and Walker is right on Reed now...Now the batlle for 2nd place is between Jesseman, Reed, Walker and Fonseca...

Lap 12 - They came out of the trees and Reed is is now back in 9th spot and slowing down a little bit...So now Walker has moved into a podium position and Fonseca takes over 4th spot...Stewart is still leading by about 10 seconds...

Lap 13 - Stewart is out in front now and the race is nearing the end...

Lap 14 - White flag is out for Stewart, Jesseamn, Walker and the rest of the field...Looks like is going to be a good start of the day for Stewart...Stewart wins followed by Jesseman and Walker...

They are on the parade lap right now...The holeshot goes to..Carmichael followed by Ramsey and Carpenter...

Lap 1 - Running order is RC, Ramsey, Carpenter, Lewis, Povolny, LaRocco, Cooper, Johnson, Tortelli and Reynard...Carmichael already has a little lead over Ramsey...Dowd comes around way back in last. He is riding a 2-stroke this week...

Lap 2 - Carmichael's lead is 6 seconds now over Ramsey...Running order is Carmichael, Ramsey, Carpenter, Lewis and LaRocco...

Lap 3 - LaRocco has gotten around Lewis and is now catching Carpenter who is riding great today...Tortelli has moved up a spot to 6th place and is now behind Lewis...

Lap 4 - Carmichael's lead is 13 seconds now over Ramsey...Ramsey has a 8 second lead over LaRocco...The top 6 positions are Hondas...4 of the top 5 are 4-strokes...

Lap 5 - Running order is Carmichael, Ramsey, LaRocco, Carpenter, Tortelli, Lusk, Vuillemin, Lewis and Reynard...Lewis must have had some trouble back in trees...

Lap 6 - Carmichael's lead is now 18 second over Ramsey...LaRocco is catching Ramsey now...

Lap 7 - Running order is now Carmichael, Ramsey, LaRocco, Tortelli, Lusk, Carpenter, Vuillemin, Lewis and Reynard...Vuillemin is all over Carpenter trying to get into 6th place...

Lap 8 - LaRocco is inching his way closer to Ramsey...Vuillemin finally got around Carpenter, so that moves him up to 6th and Paul back to 7th...

Lap 9 - Carmichael's lead is now 25 seconds over Ramsey and LaRocco...Vuillemin is back in 13th spot now after the trees and now Carpenter moves back into 6th place...

Lap 10 - LaRocco made the pass on Ramsey and moves into 2nd spot and puts Ramsey down to 3rd...

Lap 11 - Looks like Carmichael is going to keep it perfect...Carmichael's lead is now 31 seconds...Ramsey went down and can't get his bike started. He is just sitting on the side of the track...

Lap 12 - 2-lap board is out for Carmichael...Bad luck for Ramsey, he is walking back to the pits now and being interviewed by Cameron Steele...

Lap 13 - Reynard made a pass on Carpenter and moves into 5th spot...2-lap board was not out, it will be soon...

Lap 14 - Carmichael's lead is 34 seconds now..Tortelli has caught LaRocco and is tring for 2nd place...Roncada has dropped off the list now, so Lewis is now in 7th place...

Lap 15 - Tortelli has made the pass on LaRocco and moves into 2nd place...Carmichael wins!!!

They just finished the parade lap...The holeshot goes to...Danny Smith followed by Antunez, Sorby and Stewart...

Lap 1 - Running order is Smith, Stewart, Antunez, Sorby, Sellards, Reed, Jesseman, Boniface, Demuth, Ward, Walker, Thain and Buckelew...

Lap 2 - Stewart takes over the lead and quickly puuls a little lead over Smith and the rest of the field...Reed is moving up, he's right behind Sorby trying to take over 4th spot..

Lap 3 - Stewart now has a 4 second lead over Smith...Now Sorby and Reed are right on Antunez who is in 3rd spot...Walker is in 9th, but moving up through the pack quickly...Reed passes both Sorby and Antunez and moves into 3rd place...

Lap 4 - Stewart is cruising out in front, but Smith is keeping him honest not too far behind...

Lap 5 - Running order is Stewart, Smith, Reed, Antunez, Jesseman, Sorby...

Lap 6 - Stewart has a 11 second lead now over Smith...Running order is Stewart, Smith, Reed, Jesseman, Antunez, Sorby, Sellards, Walker, Thain, Fonseca, Boniface and Ward...

Lap 7 - Reed has gotten around Smith and moves into 2nd place...Jesseman is also working his way up to Smith and Reed...Stewart's lead is now around 13 seconds...

Lap 8 - Stewart is now coming into lappers, but getting around them pretty easily...

Lap 9 - Reed is catching Stewart slightly but he's still about 12.5 seconds back and time is running out...Walker has moved up to 6th spot now and is starting to catch Antunez...

Lap 10 - Smith is keeping Reed honest, he's right behind him and then Jesseman is coming up on both of them...Walker has passed Antunez and now moves into 5th place. Running order is Stewart, Reed, Smith, Jesseman, Walker, Antunez, Sorby, Sellards, Fonseca and Thain...

Lap 11 - Stewart is leading by 16 seconds now over the rest of the field...Sorby has gotten by Antunez and moves in to 6th place...

Lap 12 - Stewart is looking really smooth and fast out in front...Walker has gotten around Fonseca and moves into 5th spot...

Lap 13 - 2-lap board is out for Stewart now with Reed, Smith and Jesseman trying to catch him, but unless he makes a mistake he's looking good for the win and the overall...

Last Lap - Stewart is just cruising now...Walker may have crashed, he hasn't come around yet...Stewart Wins!!!

They just finished the parade lap...Lets see if RC can stay perfect...The holeshot goes to...Carmichael followed by Cooper and Roncada...

Lap 1 - Ramsey stalled his bike and is running last now...RC already has a 5.5 second lead over Roncada and Cooper...Another good start for Carpenter, he's running 6th right now...

Lap 2 - RC has a 14.5 second lead now...Roncada didn't come around so Cooper is in 2nd and Carpenter is in 3rd now...Running order is RC, Cooper, Carpenter, Povolny, Lusk, Lewis, Tortelli, Ferry, Dowd, LaRocco, Hagseth adnd Reynard...

Lap 3 - Lewis and Ferry are moving up, They are right on Cooper rear tire...

Lap 4 - Carmichael's lead is now 22 seconds...Running order is RC, Ferry, Lusk, Tortelli, Lewis, LaRocco, Cooper, Carpenter and Reynard...

Lap 6 - Ferry is cutting into Carmichael's lead by about a second and a half each lap, but RC may be too far out in front...

Lap 7 - Running order is Carmichael, Ferry, Tortelli, Lusk, LaRocco, Lewis, Reynard, Dowd, Cooper, Carpenter...

Lap 9 - Carmichael's lead is now 25 seconds, Ferry has not come around again and now Tortelli moves into 2nd spot and Lusk to 3rd...Ferry now comes around in 5th place...

Lap 10 - Ferry is working his way back up, he's right behind LaRocco now...

Lap 13 - Carmichael's lead is now 31.5 seconds...Running order is RC, Tortelli, Lusk, Ferry, LaRocco, Reynard, Lewis, Dowd, Voss, Ramsey and Carpenter...

Final Lap - Carmichael still has a huge lead...What's new! 38 seconds is the gap over Tortelli...Carmichael Wins!!!
