. Pre-Race Notes: It's cloudy, humid and about 75 degrees. Doug Henry is racing today on a YZ 250, two-stroke. Also Loretta Lynn's Champ Ben Riddle is riding for Motorious.com Suzuki with Pingree and Jesseman.

And the holeshot goes to...Jesseman followed by Buckelew...Lytle and a couple others went down in the first turn...Pastrana has moved into the lead with Jesseman right behind him...Roncada is back in 9th spot trying to work hi way up to Pastrana...Pastrana and Jesseman are starting to pull away from the rest of the pack...Ben Riddle is running in 13th spot in his first pro national...Running order after 2 laps. Pastrana, Jesseman, Vohland, Fonseca, Buckelew, Gosselaar, Roncada, Carpenter, I. Tedesco...

Roncada is on the move, he just passed Gosselaar for 6th spot...K. Smith has pulled into the mechanic's area and is heading back to the pits...Pastrana has extended his lead over Jesseman to 4 seconds...Roncada is still on the move, he's right on his teammate Fonseca trying to take over the 4th position...Roncada has taken 4th spot from Fonseca...Vohland is starting to catch Jesseman almost 5 laps into this moto...Pastrana is cruising out in front with about a 9 second lead...

Vohland is about 4 seconds behind Jesseman...Jesseman is looking strong in second spot though...The top 6 all are spread out by 5 seconds each, not much going on...Running order Pastrana, Jesseman, Vohland, Roncada, Fonseca, I. Tedesco, Sellards, C. Johnson, Ramsey, Carpenter, D. Smith, Preston...Pastrana's lead is up to 13 seconds and Jesseman has 10 seconds on Vohland now...Roncada is still the same distance from Vohland as a few laps ago...

Pastrana is now about 19 seconds on front of Jesseman, and the two lap board is out. Roncada is now putting some presure on Vohland and is two seconds back. The white flag is out, and it is Pastrana throwing a clicker over the "dinner tabletop"... Roncada gets Vohland for third place, taking over third. Fonseca, Johnson and Sellards are running 5,6 and 7...Pastrana wins it, followed by Jesseman and Roncada, Vohland comes in fourth, followed by Fonseca. Ivan Tedesco comes in eigth followed by Ramsey and Smith.

. 250cc Moto #1:
. ... And the 250 riders re on there sighting lap. Carmichael was one of the only riders to consistantly clear a new and very large, downhill triple in the middle of the track. The crowd is cheering for Doug Henry as he takes his parade lap.

The 2 minute card is up. And the Holeshot goes to Vuillemin followed by Larocco and Carmichael. Ricky gets by Mike Larocco and is setting his sights on Vuillemin. The top three alreay have a four second lead. Carmichael is all over Vuillemin. Ferry is in fourth, followed by Henry. Carmichael gets by Vuillemin to take over first. Ricky launches over the infield triple while Vuillemin doubles it. Albertyn gets by Henry for 5th, followed by Windham and Tortelli.

The top four already have a ten second lead over Albertyn. The two factory Hondas are batteling hard for the sixth spot, with Windham holding it. Ricky is the only rider doing the triple and has a four second lead over the #934 Yamaha of Vuillemin. Tortelli gets by Windham and is setting his sights on Albertyn. Reynard is closing in Windham who seems to be fading a little. Keith Johnson on the Cannondale is running 18th. Ricky is at a 5 second lead over Vuillemin. Doug Henry has faded back to 12th place and is fighting it out with Dowd and Ward who are on the move.

The halfway (15 mins)flag is out. Semi-local Damien Plotts is running in the ninth positon uncontested. He was a top Privateer at Unadilla and seems to be looking to follow that up here at Broome - Tioga. Running order is Carmichael, Vuillemin, Larrocco, Ferry, Albertyn and Tortelli. Tortelli has slowed drasticaly and looks like he is cruising...His bars look bent or he might have a flat. He looks to be fading back...Tortelli looks as though his Rear Shock has gone bad as the rear fender is now dragging on the tire.

Ricky Could wrap it up today as Tortelli is not able to jump anything and looks to be fading outside the top 20. He is not giving up though. He has pulled into the mechanics area and is off the bike now. Tortelli is out, as a Honda tech is pushing the bike back to the truck. Carmichael has a 10 second lead. Running order is Carmichael, Vuillemin, Larocco, Albertyn, Ferry, Windham, Reynard and Heath Voss. the riders are really spread out at this point. Top Privateer Kyle Lewis in 21st place. The two lap board is out and Carmichael will be 65 points ahead going into the second moto, should he win this one.

Damien Plotts is in a battle with Ward and Dowd...Ward gets the ninth position with less than one lap to go...Carmichael wins it, with a one hander over the finish line.

And the holeshot goes to...Justin Buckelew followed by Pastrana and Roncada...Pastrana has taken the lead from Buckelew and Roncada is right behind Buckelew trying to get around to catch Pastrana...Roncada made the pass on his teammate and moved into second spot...This is going to be a battle, Pastrana went off the track and Roncada has caught up to him after 2 laps...Jesseman has gone down, he's up and walking after laying down for a few minutes...

Pastrana has pulled away a little bit from Roncada, but they are both way out in front. C. Johnson is back in 3rd spot followed by his teammate Fonseca...Rodrif Thain has pulled into the mechanic's area and is stopped...Running order Pastrana, Roncada, C. Johnson, Fonseca, Tedesco, Sellards, Vohland, Ramsey, Buckelew and Wey...Sellards passes Tedesco to move into 5th spot...Pastrana has pulled away from Roncada little by little each lap. His lead is about 6 seconds now at the half-way mark...The top 5 are all spread out again by about 5 seconds each...

Ryan Clark is walking back to the pits calling it a day with bike problems...Vohland and Sellards are strating to real in Fonseca, who is in 4th spot at the moment...Vohland just parked Fonseca to move into 4th...Casey Johnson is on the ground and they are waving the red cross flags, we'll keep you posted on his injury...Pastrana has a 26 second lead over Roncada. Roncada has 16 second lead over third place Vohland. It seems tha Johnson has hurt his tailbone and is being tended to by the medics. Pastrana does a heel clicker over one of the tabletops...Patstrana wins it, while Roncada comes in second to keep a six second lead over Pastrana. Sellards got by Vohland on the last lap to claim the third spot.

And the holeshot goes to...Factory Phil Lawrence followed by Vuillemin and Carmichael...Vuillemin has taken the lead with Carmichael right behind him...Carmichael and Vuillemin are banging bars as they went into the trees...Out of the trees it's Carmichael in the lead followed by Vuillemin and Albee...Running order Carmichael, Vuillemin, Albertyn, LaRocco, King, Reynard, Tortelli, Voss, Dowd...

Albertyn is right on Vuillemin trying to take over 2nd spot...They come out of the trees Albertyn has gotten past the Frenchmen Vuillemin...Carmichael is now cruising out in front again...carmichael is 6 second in front of albertyn coming back acrosss the finish .....the field is way strung out, leaders should start lapping soon....larocco and vuillemin are fighting for 3rd.....carmichael in front by 7 seconds now two laps later ......at the halfway point, its carmichael, albertyn, vuillemin, larrocco, and reynard about 20 seconds back ....same lap, larocco just passed vuillemin, and is running away....5th through 10 is: reynard,tortelli, dowd, voss, and shayne king...... carmichael is gone...but dealing with lappers...lots of them....alby is still real strong, actually closing the gap, but has a long way to catch carmichael......carmichael just passed 4 lappers in the two turn S section before the huge table top...he's flying .....and 4 more lappers before the finish....amazing....

the field is suprisingly strung out, not a ton of racing right now.....carmichael is way out front, but alby and larocco are still riding strong....the two lap board just came out...reynard is closing on Vuillemin.....reynard out pulled him up the hill and got by....so ow it's ricky, alby, larocco, reynard, then vuillemin with just under two laps to go...one lap to go... carmichael flying...alby hanging 6 seconds back, larocco 5 second behind him, reynard 4 more back, with vuellimen 4 more back .....larocco was in heavy traffic ....ie:"get out of my way !!!"......the finish: ricky,almost lapping henry at the finish, but not quit !! ......unofficial order top ten: carmichal, albertyn, larocco, reynard, vuillemin, tortelli,dowd, voss, windham, king. the crowd loves that henry is here, he's getting mobbed in the pits....so thats it....last and final round, next sunday at steel city....it's going to be a battle between pestrana and roncada, carmichael just wrapped up the championship today, he will be crowned today.... 1.
