Lap 10 - Whomever felt Stewart had lost it and was fair game here at Mt. Morris was definitely off their rocker as he continues to be 2 to 3 seconds a lap faster than everyone else. Ramsey now sets hit sites on Sorby for the 5th spot as time winds down in this 2nd moto. Grant holds 7th and is looking to score his first AMA professional points of his career...

Lap 11 - The lead is now 27 seconds for Stewart. Ramsey makes the pass on Sorby for 5th as they drag race down vendors row. A great ride for former 125 National Champion Steve Lamson. #6 rides in the 10th position ahead of Millsaps in 11th....

Lap 12 - Sorby refuses to give up and tries his best to take back the 5th spot from Ramsey. Sorby injured his knee at Hangtown and was only able to ride the bike once during the weekend off. It doesnt seem to be slowing him down today today as he looks to wrap up a 4th overall...

Lap 13 - The lead four of Stewart, Hepler, Brown and Walker are all spaced out and look to be the lead four for the race. Sorby is once again all over Ramsey as they race past the tower. Sorby was 6th in moto one, while Ramsey was 8th. Ramsey looks for a possible 5th overall unofficially...

250cc Moto Two:

They are just finishing the parade lap...The holeshot goes to...Windham followed by Carmichael and Voss, then Vuillemin, Anderson and Reed...Windham and Carmichael are pulling away from the rest of the pack...

Lap 1 - Running order is Windham, Carmichael, Reed, Vuillemin, Voss, Fonseca, Anderson, Hamblin, Lewis, Dowd...

Lap 2 - Windham is still holding off Carmichael by about 4 bike lengths...Tim Ferry running way back after a poor start...Carmichael trying to make a move on Windham, after following him for the whole race..

Lap 3 - Carmichael takes over the lead after passing Windham down the finish straight...Carmichael is starting to pull away from Windham a little bit...

Lap 4 - Running order is Carmichael, Windham, Reed, Vuillemin, Fonseca, Hamblin, Voss, Dowd, Anderson, Wey and Lewis...

Lap 5 - Wey got around Anderson for 9th, but Anderson took it right back and still holds it down...Carmichael's lead is up to 5 seconds now over Windham...

Lap 6 - Dowd makes the pass on Heath Voss and takes over the 8th position...

Lap 7 - RC and the 450 are proving to be magic already this outdoor season. 2004 undefeated? It might be a bit early for such talk, but the two are looking to be unbeatable already. Fonseca puts in an impressive ride today considering he has been out for most of the year with a knee injury. He is currently almost 6 seconds ahead of Hamblin in 5th...

Lap 8 - The race up front for the lead four is pretty much set as it was in the 125 class, but the real race is further back in the top 10 as Dowd begins to reel in Hanblin a little bit on this lap. Voss is 8th with Byrne making a pass on Wey for 9th. 11th is Anderson with Lewis and Keith Johnson (Mass) in tow...

Lap 9 - Hamblin's cushion over Dowd for the 6th position opens up a little bit. While Byrne makes a move on Voss for the 8th spot. Ferry has had a tough time coming thru the pack this moto and is currently in 17th...

Lap 10 - Lewis and Johnson (Mass) make their way around Anderson for the 11th, 12th and 13th positions...

Lap 11 - RC has a 10.5 second lead over Windham, 26 seconds on Reed and 31 seconds over Vuillemin who is back in 4th. Hamblin continues to charge on Fonseca and is now just 2.4 seconds back as this moto winds down. This battle is for the 5th overall spot and they finished 7th and 8th in moto one.

Lap 12 - Wey now sets his sites on Voss for the 9th spot with Byrne just ahead of them in 8th. Wey and Voss were 11th and 12th in moto one and this 2nd moto battle is for an overall postion as well.

Lap 13 - Not enough can be said about Fonseca's effort here in moto 2 as he holds Hamblin at bay for the 5th spot and 2-stroke supremacy. Coming back from an injury can be difficult, but considering Ernie hasnt raced since the San Diego Supercross, he has obviously been training hard during his time off. Wey passes Voss and is now up to 9th...

Lap 14 - 2 lap board is out now and the talk is still about Fonseca and Hamblin as the gap is only one second. The mechanics are waving them on as they race past the tower. RC and KW have now lapped Johnson and Anderson which are currently 11th and 12th. Amazing.

Lap 15 - White flag waves for the Honda duo as they hit the final lap here at High Point. Reed is 3rd with Vuillemin back in a distant 4th. Hamblin is now just 2 bikelengths behind Fonseca. Whomever wins this moto will earn 5th overall for the day...

Lap 16 - The checkered flag waves for RC as he puts Voss (10th place) a lap down on the final lap. 4 for 4 for Carmichael here in 04. Fonseca holds off Hamblin for the 5th spot...
