Aussie Dirt Tracker Gets A Ride

Five-Time Australian Flat Track Champion Luke Gough is proud to announce that he has secured a Harley-Davidson XR750 from Mike Hacker Racing for the AMA Pro Grand National Twins series. Gough will bolt the national number 62 plates on his new ride for the Twins Series opener at the Springfield Mile at the end of May.

Johnson Switches To Honda And Harley

After earning two championships while riding for American Suzuki, Jake Johnson is making the switch to a Mike Hacker-prepared Honda CRF450 for the rest of the season, according to the team. In addition, Johnson will ride a Johnny Goad Harley-Davidson XR750 in the twins series.

Remembering Ricky – Salinas-Style

The Salinas Rodeo Grounds provided the perfect place to put together an AMA District 36-sanctioned Half Mile TT event in honor of the late Ricky Graham, who lost his life in a house fire 11 years ago. Graham, a local boy, accomplished many victories in his short life, including three Grand National Championships and an AMA Athlete Of The Year award.

The AMA Grand National Championship event scheduled for the MetraPark Raceway Half-Mile, in Billings, Montana, on August 1, 2009, has been canceled, this according to Michael Marsh of Recreational Action Sports Entertainment, the company promoting the event.
