SAN FELIPE, B.C., MEXICO, MARCH 12-14: After nearly a week, SCORE International finally released the official results of the Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250, held March 12-14. And, just as how they crossed the finish line last week, the JCR Honda team made up of Colton Udall and Jeff "Ox" Kargola were officially declared the overall motorcycle winner. The duo finished the race in four hours, 38 minutes and 59 seconds, which was about four minutes quicker than the next-best bike ridden by the Kawasaki-mounted team of Robby Bell and Steve Hengeveld.
Hengeveld and Bell were the early leaders, but a flat tire caused them to surrender the point position to Udall and Kargola, who never looked back from that point on. The Kawasaki team stopped the clock at 4:43.04.
Third place went to another Kawasaki-mounted team made up of Connor Penhall and Brent Harden (5:04:40). They finished about 20 minutes behind the Bell and Hengeveld team.
Fourth overall went to Class 30 winner Francisco Septien (5:11:35), while JCR Honda's Kendal Norman, who was forced to solo the race after teammate Timmy Weigand suffered a stroke a few days before the start, finished fifth overall, just 10 seconds behind the Septien team. Norman was in contention for the win earlier in the race when he overshot a turn and crashed, severely damaging his bike. Kendal was forced to return to the Honda pits to get the bike straightened out. Norman finished the race in 5:11:45.
