2002 Yamaha YZ250F

Yamaha recently supplied us with this photo of its 2002 YZ250F thumper, the sophomore effort of the much-discussed bike that recently clinched the 125cc Western Regional Supercross Series Championship at the hands of Yamaha of Troy's Ernesto Fonseca. No details or specifications were provided, and the bike appears nearly identical to this year's unit, with a very slight graphics alteration being the only obvious externally visible difference. The subframe, which was blue-painted aluminum in 2001, doesn't appear to be painted on the 2002 model. Stay tuned for more info on this bike and the rest of Yamaha's 2002 line.
