Monticello Half-Mile to Run Sunday

MONTICELLO, N.Y. (Sept. 6, 2008) -- The Monticello Half-Mile AMA Grand National Championship round scheduled for tonight has been postponed to Sunday due to heavy rain in the area from tropical storm Hanna.

Timed qualifying is set to get underway Sunday at 11:00 am with the main Grand National program to get started at 1:00 pm.

Sunday’s forecast in Monticello calls for mostly sunny skies and 77 degrees.
