The NMA Grand National Amateur Motocross Championship is winding down in Ponca City, Oklahoma, and many of the top riders who were expecting to do well are doing just that.

Justin Bogle, on the GEICO Powersports/Amsoil Honda, won both 250 Stock and Modified Pro classes, as well as the 450 Stock Pro class. Bogle had also won the first 450 Modified Pro moto, but his bid to sweep the Pro class fell just short when he suffered a mechanic problem and carded a DNF.Kawasaki Team Green's Jacob Hayes ended up winning the moto. The second moto has not yet been held.

Red Bull Honda's Cooper Webb has been killing it as well. Webb has swept both the 85/150 Stock and Modified (14-16) classes, as well as the 150 4-Stroke Thru-16 class, and he's heading for a showdown with Kawasaki Team Green's Adam Cianciarulo in the 112 Supermini Thru 16 final. Both Webb and Cianciarulo have won their first divisional motos in the Supermini class. (Cianciarulo is only competing in the Supermini division this year.)

Honda-mounted Cole Thompson went 1-1 to claim the 250/450 College Stock 18-25 NonPro class over Blake Hamilton. Rockstar/Suzuki rider Sean Cantrell is having a good week so far. He won both his divisional motos in the 85 Stock Thru-11 class and has already won the first moto over double divisional 2 moto winner Tanner Stack. And Cantrell is matching that performance in the Modified division, as well. He's hoping to pull off a complete sweep in tomorrow's final motos.KTM rider Ciaran Naran is leading the way in the 65 Jr. Cycle Stock and Modified (9-11) classes over Brett Gourley and Garrett Marchbanks. Justin Summers, Zachary Bell, Jeremy Martin, Thomas Covington, Austin Burns, and Cole Thompson are all divisional winners in the four Intermediate classes.

Champions will be crowned tomorrow. So far, weather has cooperated, but it's still quite hot and muggy. When all is said done, many of the racers will load up and head to Loretta Lynn's Ranch for the AMA Motocross Amateur National Championships in Tennessee, which gets underway Tuesday.
