MX Sports Pro Racing announced its schedule for the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship today with the series set to play out in 12 rounds at racetracks from California to New England.The series will again feature its races on Saturdays with things getting rolling at the Hangtown Motocross Classic in Sacramento, California, on May 21 and ending at Pala Raceway, north of San Diego, California, on September 10.Although no new tracks are featured on the 2011 schedule, there may be good news on the horizon for fans in the Southeast."We have also been exploring several new facilities in the Southeast," said MX Sports vice president Davey Coombs. "The area is one of the most popular regions of the country for off-road motorcycles, and it is the hope of MX Sports that we will be able to announce a new addition to the schedule for 2012."As has been the case, the championship will feature the 450 and 250cc classes as the headline events with the Women's Motocross Championship slated to run at eight rounds of the series - Hangtown, Freestone, Thunder Valley, RedBud, Spring Creek, Moto-X 338, Steel City, and Pala.The series schedule is as follows:May 21 - Hangtown Motocross Classic, Sacramento, California

June 11 - High Point Raceway Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania.

June 18 - Budds Creek Motocross, Mechanicsville, Maryland

July 2 - RedBud, Buchanan, Michigan

July 16 - Spring Creek Motocross, Millville, Minnesota

July 23 - Washougal MX Park, Washougal, Washington

August 13 - Unadilla New Berlin, New York

August 27 - Moto-X 338, Southwick, Massachusetts

September 3 - Steel City Raceway, Delmont, Pennsylvania

September 10 - Pala Raceway, Pala, California
