The Crozier Motorsports team of Mark Crozier and Phil Caudill won the weather-shortened AMA Pro SunTrust Moto-GT race on a partially wet Barber Motorsports Park.The team, which started  from the pole position on DOT tires on the wet track, but pitted to switch to rain tires, completed 40 laps of the 2.38-mile road course to win the GT-1 race by 16.961 secs. over the HurtByAccident.com (Suzuki GSX-R600) team of Ferreria/Ramirez. HurtByAccident.com was forced to start from row four of five because of a technical infraction during qualifying.HurtByAccident.com is now tied for the class points lead with Old Pros Racing, 14th overall today, with 57 points.Third place overall, and first in GT-2, was the father-son team of Justin and Jimmy Filice. The Filices, aboard a HurtByAccident.com Ducati PS1000LE, beat the GT-2 class pole-sitters, Touring Sport Ducshop Ducati, by 38 secs. Both teams completed 40 laps."Justin (Filice), he did the first stint, he did a wonderful job," Jimmy Filice said of his son. "I just got on the bike and kept it upright."Aussie Dave Racing (Suzuki GSX-R600) finished fifth overall and third in the GT-1 class.Third in GT-2 went to D&D Cycles' Sanders/Melka on a Suzuki SV-650.Touring Sport Ducshop Ducati has a class leading 83 points to 68 for Pair-A-Nines Kawasaki which has 68. Pair-A-Nines finished sixth in class and 11th overall today.The morning rain that forced the cancellation of both the American Superbike and Daytona SportBike qualifying, and interrupted SuperSport qualifying, affected the Moto-GT race. The teams were given a ten minute practice session, after which the race was run. Rather than the originally scheduled two hours, the race was shortened to just over 75 minutes, with a hard finish at 1:30 p.m.
