M4 Suzuki's Jason DiSalvo barely improved his qualifying time in Superpole, but it was enough to take the pole position for the final Daytona SportBike races of the season at New Jersey Motorsports Park.Sixth in final qualifying, DiSalvo sat and watched the final five riders after setting his fast lap of 1:23.840 mins. Not only did no one beat him, no one came very close and none breached the 1:24 mark. The pole was DiSalvo's sixth of the year.Fast qualifier Tommy Aquino (Team Graves Yamaha) came closest, with a lap of 1:24.013 mins. But that lap was half a second slower than he'd gone in final qualifying.Herrin's teammate Josh Herrin is on the second row of the rolling start next to Factory Aprilia/Millennium Technologies' Chaz Davies. Neither improved their qualifying times.Row three is Erion Honda's Jake Zemke and Bazzaz Performance's Steve Rapp, with Latus Racing's Taylor Knapp (Bue) and Monster Energy Attack Kawasaki's Roger Lee Hayden on row four.Bobby Fong (Yam) and Erion Honda's Chris Peris fill out row five after clocking identical times of 1:24.690 mins. The top ten qualifiers were covered by .850 secs.
