SONOMA, CA, MAY 16: Team Graves Yamaha's Josh Hayes swept the American SuperBike double-header with a dominant performance in the Sunday race of the West Coast Moto Jam at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California.Hayes had a steady but unspectacular start, moving judiciously through the field until he found himself on the back of Larry Pegram (Duc) on the fifth of 18 laps. The next time around he went up the inside of Pegram in the Carousel and was gone. The lead quickly went over a second and continued to grow to over five secs. before Hayes slowed at the end.The margin of victory was 3.676 secs.Pat Clark Motorsports' Ben Bostrom (Yam) passed Pegram on the 11th lap to take over second and guarantee an identical podium to Saturday. The win, Hayes' second in a row and second of the year, moved him to third in the championship. The top three are National Guard Suzuki's Jake Zemke (178), fifth today, Rockstar Makita Suzuki's Tommy Hayden (174), fourth today, and Hayes.Hayden passed Zemke on the 16th lap to take over fourth, then held off teammate Blake Young on the final lap. The pair came together in turn nine on the final lap, with Hayden keeping his spot.Zemke came sixth, his worst finish of the year.
