The following is from Auto Club Speedway...Mark your calendars - Auto Club Speedway has an exciting weekend scheduled for you.Auto Club Speedway is preparing for two exciting events this coming weekend, March 26-28, with "Lefty's Family Fun Day and 5K" and Suzuki AMA Pro SuperBike Challenge.A highlight of the weekend will be "Lefty's Family Fun Day and 5K", Saturday, March 27, -- a fun, non-competitive 5K run, walk, skate or ride around the 2.36-mile, 21-turn road course that is set-up for the Suzuki AMA Pro SuperBike Challenge. As a bonus, anyone wearing their 5K bib will be admitted free to the motorcycle racing events later that day. Registration begins at 6:00 a.m. and the "green flag" will drop at 7:45 a.m. For more information or for advance registration visit www.leftys5k.com.In addition to the 5K, there will be a Healthy Communities Expo including a climbing wall, Nutrition Network, a farmer's market, sports activities and a variety of state, county and local agencies providing information, displays, interactive exhibits and services to help fight childhood obesity. Best of all it's free to attend and runs until noon.Beginning with qualifying on Friday and racing on Saturday and Sunday, the powerful rockets of the road of the AMA Pro SuperBike Challenge will take to the Speedway's road course.
