TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH, MAY 28 - The weight penalty handed to the twins following the dominant start by Latus Motors Racing's Jason DiSalvo had little affect in the first practice session at Miller Motorsports Park. The 40-minute session for Daytona SportBikes ended with Celtic Racing/Fast by Ferracci's PJ Jacobsen leading the way on his Ducati 848EVO (1:56.615). Second went to Geico Powersports/RMR Racing's Danny Eslick (Suzuki) at a gap of a tenth of a second, with DiSalvo third another two-tenths back. The times for the SportBikes are more than a second slower than what was run during the early May test here at MMP.
