The Hungarian MotoGP that was scheduled for September 20 has been cancelled because the event promoter, Balatonring Zrt., has stated that they can't complete the new circuit in time, according to Dorna - the rights holder of MotoGP. The event will not be replaced, according to the FIM, with the series now consisting of 17 and not 18 races.Track builders have faced delays in the contruction process because of a harsh winter. In addition, the economic climate has also affected the funding process, according to the release.The new schedule is as follows.
