With just three short weeks left to prepare for the season ending double header of Rounds 8 and 9 of the AMA/Kenda National Hare and Hound Championship, big things are in the works for two weekends of great racing.  JCR Honda's Kendall Norman is well out front and looks to be the favorite for a 2010 Championship, but two other riders are nipping at his heels with a chance to be the spoiler.

KTM's David Kamo and Kawasaki's Destry Abbott (recently returned from shoulder surgery) can take over the points lead by winning the final two rounds.  Behind them, the lineup for 4th and 5th overall are even closer as David Pearson, Jacob Argubright, and Justin Imhof each have a chance to finish in the top five for the season with good rides here at the end.

NHHA Racing isn't all about the Pro's however, and increased product give-a-ways will highlight the final two rounds. A set of Fasst Flex Handlebars are up-for-grabs if your fast enough to be first to the end of the bomb at round 8, and even more is planned for round 9!  Add to this one of the richest contingency programs on the west coast and you have the makings for a potential full bike rebuild heading into the 2011 season.

The action doesn't stop with the racers, at the NHHA events. Both rounds 8 and 9 will feature a chance for the kids to get into the action.  First, at Round 8, an autograph signing will allow for each of the kids to get into the mix and fill their rooms with autographs from some of the fastest off road racers in the world.  And if the autograph signing isn't enough for you at round 8, the Pro Racer Ride-A-Long at round 9 will sure to be a crowd favorite.

A chance to go out on a ride with one of the pro racers is a dream that most any child is sure to have, and at Round 9 the NHHA along with each of its pro riders will host an approx hour long ride where younger soon to be racers will have the chance to learn from the pros in a non-racing atmosphere.  Pull up alongside Destry Abbot and ask him the best way to tackle that whoop section, or follow behind Jacob Argubright as he gets set to hit a 100 foot dirt to dirt jump.  Either way, both weekends are sure to have something for everyone to enjoy.

Join the NHHA and all of its sponsors for the final rounds of the 2010 season as multiple championships are decided Sunday October 10th and again two weeks later on October 24 for the final two rounds of the AMA/Kenda National Hare and Hound Championship.
