A man has been arrested for allegedly killing one motorcyclist and injuring nine others when he crossed the centerline and struck 10 riders traveling in a group of 12 in Wisconsin on Thursday, May 31.

Daniel Lee Winsemius, 59, of Michigan, was killed in the crash with nine others suffering injury when they were struck by the motorist. The riders were all members of the Muskegon Motorcycle Gang from Michigan with the accident occurring on Highway 151 in the town of Taycheedah - northeast of Milwaukee.

On Monday, police arrested Clinton Lovelace, 25, in connection with the crash. He was expected to be charged with homicide by negligent operation of a motor vehicle. AP is also reporting that he will be charged with felony bail jumping.

Lovelace had to be extracted from his car, but was released from hospital on Sunday. He was immediately arrested, according to local news reports.

According to Fond du Lac County District Attorney Dan Kaminsky, Lovelace was found with two unopened syringes in his pants pocket at the scene of the crash - a violation of his probation related to another Wisconsin drug charge.

Three of the injured riders are in intensive care with two others in a Fond du Lac hospital in fair condition, according to reports.
