Red Bull KTM Factory rider, Taddy Blazusiak, who was injured Saturday August 9 during practice for the WORCS X event in Olympia, Washington, was released from the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, yesterday at 3:00 p.m. Taddy is feeling great considering the level of injury he suffered. Taddy underwent a four-hour surgery on Monday to repair the fractured bones in his face. Doctors predict it will take 6-8 weeks until Taddy is fully recovered and can begin to ride again. A 100 percent recovery is expected. Red Bull KTM team manager, Antti Kallonen, has been with Taddy through the duration of his hospital stay and has stated, "Taddy is already beginning to recover faster than expected. He is well enough to attend the KTM Dealer Show this weekend and will be able to fly home to Poland as early as next Wednesday."

"It was a big crash and I'm lucky to be okay. It could have been much worse. I am grateful to have full support from my family and KTM through my stay in the hospital. I am hoping to be back on the bike soon," commented Taddy after his release from the Harborview Medical Center.
