KTM Enduro factory rider Ivan Cervantes rose to the occasion in Igualada, Spain, March 28-29, to score a double victory in rounds three and four of the E3 Word Enduro Championships. Even in the rain and muddy conditions on Sunday, Cervantes managed to double his points score after also winning both days the weekend before in Portugal.

"Last weekend Ivan won his races with a small margin and had four or five small crashes," said team boss Fabio Farioli. "But this weekend he seemed to go into a different gear. He fought hard and had two good victories even though the conditions were tough and slippery with all the rain and the mud."

Husqvarna's Sebastien Guillaume finished second to Cervantes on Saturday, while 2008 E1 World Champion Samuli Aro, Cervantes teammate, followed Cervantes home on day two.

Johnny Aubert gave KTM another class sweep by winning both days in the E2 division. He also won both days the weekend before in Portugal. In Spain, Aubert finished ahead of Yamaha's Cristobal Guerrero on Saturday and Husaberg's Joakim Ljunggren on Sunday.

Honda's Mika Ahola prevent KTM from sweeping the entire event by winning the E1 class on Saturday, finishing ahead of KTM's Simone Albergoni. The order was reversed on Sunday, with Albergoni taking the victory ahead of Ahola. Husqvarna's Antoine Meo was third both days.
