Pretty much as expected, Finland's Trophy team held on to win this year's 77th International Six Days Enduro in Jablonec nad Nisou, Czech Repbulic. The Finnish team, made up of overall winner Mika Ahola (Vor), Samuli Aro (Hus), Juha Salminen (KTM), Jani Laaksonen (GG), Petteri Silvan (Hus) and Petri Pohjamo (GG), cruised through the final day of competition, taking the world team victory by a large margin over Sweden, France, Great Britain and Italy. Sweden passed France for second place when on of the French team riders crashed in the final moto and failed to finish the moto.
The U.S. team, having only four of its riders still going at the end, finished a disappointing 16th.
In the Junior World division, Team France came out on top over Portugal, Finland, Germany and the Czech Republic. The U.S. team lost two of its riders throughout the course of the week and finished 12th overall.
We'll have a more complete update of the results as soon as possible.
