The U.S. Trophy Team again put in another solid ride today, to remain in 12th in the overall standings. And according to or man on the scene, Steve Berkner, US Trophy team riders Kurt Caselli and Jimmy Jarrett, turned in their best individual performances after four days of riding.

“Caselli, who continues to be ‘Top American,’ tallied a score of 46.45 seconds behind overall and Enduro 2 class leader Stefan Merriman,” Berkner said. “Caselli’s efforts for the day were 10th in class, were he remains in 5th. Jarrett finished just 91.81 seconds behind Merriman’s score. Jarrett’s efforts netted him 31st in class, his best so far moving him up to 42nd in class.”

As for the U.S. Junior Trophy Team they also turned in another solid ride to move up another position in the overall standings.

 “The US Junior Trophy Team, which moved up one place to 11th had its best day so far with three of its four riders posting their best special test times with two days of the ISDE remaining,” Berkner said. “Wally Palmer’s efforts brought him up to Gold Medal status for the first time.”

There was also a change in the Club Teams with the New Jersey MC club team of Mark Faulk, JD Hammock and Brian Storrie moving to top American status. The three-rider club team moved into 21st overall while yesterday’s top American team, SKUNKWRx.net, dropped to 25th. Running in 22nd overall is another American club team, the Merced Dirt Riders made up of Greg Ghione, Jeff Bauer and Ray Geimer.
