Not only was rider skill a big part of this year’s multi-loop race but so was navigation and Webb handled both with seemingly ease. Last year, a navigation goof cost FMF KTM Team rider the victory but not this year.
The race for second place wasn’t as clear cut, as it took a lot of discussion and math to determine who would claim runner-up honors. That person, as it turned out, was Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Colton Haaker; Beta’s Max Gerston was credited with third overall.
Noah Kepple, on the FMF/Nitro Mousse/Thor KTM XC 300, finished fourth, while Mitch Carvolth, on the on the Topar / Klim / Kenda / Just1 Sherco 300 SE-R, rounded out the top five overall. CN
