Just two points separated championship leader Baylor (SRT KTM) from Duvall (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna) going into the last enduro of the year, so the plan was simple between the two: Finish ahead of the other guy. Whoever did that would be champ.
Baylor came out swinging, winning the first of six tests and taking an 11-second advantage into the next test, where Duvall rebounded and beat Baylor but by only six-tenths of a second. Baylor came back and won the third test and rode consistently in the remaining three tests to nab the second AMA National Enduro title of his career. He ended up beating Duvall by just 12 seconds at the end of the day.
Georgian rider Evan Smith ended up third on the day for his first career podium result.
Former champ Russell Bobbitt was fourth overall, followed by Cory Buttrick. Jesse Groemm (KTM), Ben Kelley (KTM), Zack Hayes (KTM), Thorn Devlin (Husqvarna) and Ron Commo III (GasGas) completed the top 10 overall.
Devlin complete a clean sweep of the Expert-AA class, winning all nine rounds.
The top amateur was 250 A-class winner Jesse Ansley (KTM) in 15th overall.
