Roll With Us Sweepstakes Brings New Fan To Barber.
This is a press release from MotoAmerica…
Costa Mesa, CA (October 4, 2017) – Landin Hardy had never been to Barber Motorsports Park and he’d never been to a MotoAmerica event. In fact, Hardy had never attended a motorsports race of any kind. Well, now he’s a fan.
Hardy, the Grand Prize winner of the J&P Cycles Roll With Us Sweepstakes presented by Honda Generator, won two Full Throttle and Hospitality tickets to the 2017 MotoAmerica Series finale at Barber Motorsports Park, a Honda EU2000i 1600 Watt Inverter Generator, and other MotoAmerica swag. Did we mention it was his first time winning any kind of sweepstakes? Of course, it was.
“It was a trip filled with firsts for me,” Hardy explained of his trip to the Honda Championship of Alabama presented by Broaster Genuine Chicken. “It was my first time to win a major sweepstakes, my first time to attend a race of any kind, and my first time to Barber. Some parts were particularly enjoyable, such as getting to stand on the winner’s podium and pose as the first-place recipient, walking through the pit lane and talking to some of the competitors’ crews, and especially standing next to the flag man and having motorcycles whiz by me at breakneck speeds.
“The accommodations of the VIP areas were top notch as well. I especially enjoyed getting to dine and then view the races from the air-conditioned trackside facilities at Barber. I was told by both spectators and employees that Barber is the nicest track in the U.S. and from what I got to see and experience, I definitively believe them. Of course, I have to thank the MotoAmerica people for making this such an exciting and memorable experience. Connor (Barr) and I-San (Hung) went out of their way to make sure I had a good time, and I definitely did. You shouldn’t be surprised if I decide to make attending this race a yearly tradition.”
Hardy was joined on the podium of Roll With Us Sweepstakes winners by First Prize winner Nicholas Tyler, Second Prize winner Dennis Carroll and Third Prize winner Coop Will. Those three won products from Dainese, AGV, Cortech and MotoAmerica.
