The Rally Peg From IMS Gets Traction at the 2017 KTM Adventure Rider Rally.
The 2017 KTM Adventure Rider Rally was held in Crested Butte, Colorado for the second time in three years. With nearly 500 attendees including a massive staff of KTM event planners, celebrity riders, world-class racers and helpful technicians, it was a popular destination, to say the least. On top of that, nearly 30 vendors from the Adventure Motorcycling industry showcased their latest adventure-motorcycle gear and services.
We had a quick chat with IMS’ Chris Hardin inside their booth at the KTM Adventure Rider Rally to see why they made the trip, what kind of cool new stuff they have and what they think the KTM Adventure Rider Rally is all about.
What IMS product is drawing the most interest from the attendees here at the KTM Rally?
Chris Hardin: Certainly our best mover here is our Rally Peg. The Rally Peg, especially on these big bikes, allows extra leverage to maneuver the bike, they provide good traction for the technical riding out here. These are the same pegs I run on my bike and I was out riding some of the local trails earlier and it’s just so much more comfortable having the feel, fit and finish of these IMS pegs underneath me.
Why should riders consider attending the KTM Adventure Rider Rally?
Chris Hardin: It’s great to be here as a vendor to show off new parts to good customers. As a rider, there are obviously beautiful places to ride up here, but for me, it’s really the social aspect of being able to meet other people who ride, which are interested in the same brand of motorcycle you like. It’s just a good place to make connections.CN
