Colorado’s House of Motorrad Visits KTM Adventure Rider Rally For First Time as Vendor.
The 2017 KTM Adventure Rider Rally was held in Crested Butte, Colorado for the second time in three years. With nearly 500 attendees including a massive staff of KTM event planners, celebrity riders, world-class racers and helpful technicians, it was a popular destination, to say the least. On top of that, nearly 30 vendors from the Adventure Motorcycling industry showcased their latest adventure-motorcycle gear and services.
We had a quick chat with House of Motorrad’s Myles Colligan inside their booth at the KTM Adventure Rider Rally to see why they made the trip, what kind of cool new stuff they have and what they think the KTM Adventure Rider Rally is all about.
What product is drawing the most interest from the attendees at the KTM Rally?
Myles Colligan: We’re an adventure touring company in Colorado that does off-road adventure training tours, we rent adventure motorcycles, we’re a full-service shop and a retail shop based out of Boulder, Colorado.
This is our first KTM event as a vendor but we have been here multiple times as customers. Most of the interest in our booth this year has been on the tour. But, we have had a lot of luck with the retail component of our shop selling products.
Why should riders consider attending the KTM Adventure Rider Rally?
Myles Colligan: It’s awesome because it’s a lot of like-minded people getting together and having a blast. These KTM events, specifically, are a lot of fun. I’ve had more fun at this event than I did at the previous event and I was a participant last year! I think they’re just getting better. Everyone’s in a good mood, having fun and enjoying themselves.
