Anaheim II Supercross Qualifying: With a deluge of rain coming in the day before the Anaheim II, round three of the 2017 Monster Energy/AMA Supercross Series, the practice sessions were once again shortened and pushed to late in the day today. Both sessions were timed, with the first sessions clocking in at 8 minutes, while the second session was given 10 minutes to get used to the track.

In the 250cc class, GEICO Honda’s Jeremy Martin put in the fastest time with a 57.072-second lap, but remarkably the top seven qualifiers were all in the 57-second range, from Martin, then through the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki duo of Justin Hill and Austin Forkner, Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha’s Aaron Plessinger, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Martin Davalos, points leader Shane McElrath (TLD/Red Bull KTM), and then Martin’s teammate Jimmy Decotis. The top 10 was rounded out by JGR Suzuki’s Phil Nicoletti, Plessinger’s teammate Dan Reardon, and Yamaha’s Tyler Bowers.
