Cycle News Staff | August 14, 2016
Cooper Webb, Jason Anderson and Alex Martin will make up this year’s Team USA for the Motocross of Nations, which takes place in Maggiora, Italy, on September 25. Webb will compete in the MX1 class, Anderson in the Open class and Martin in the MX2 class.
Both Webb and Martin have MXoN experience. Webb competed on the U.S. team last year which placed second, and Martin has competed for Puerto Rico twice in 2013 and 2014. This will be Anderson’s first time competing in the MXoN.
Anderson has been sidelined with a collarbone injury but is expected to compete in the last round of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship in Indiana and should be ready to go.
Once again, Roger DeCoster will manage the team.
