2016 Beta 350 RR
We currently have the 2016 Beta 350 RR in our stable of test bikes and have been hitting the trails on it lately. The Beta 350 RR, which got fuel-injection last year, got a few more changes this year, such as DLC-treated piston rings for less friction and oil consumption, an updated shifting detent lever for smoother and more precise gear changes, and a higher over-rev limit. It’ll rev without harm to 13,000 rpm now, before 12,500 rpm was max.
Chassis-wise it has a new plastic skid plate, new handlebars, and an updated airbox and suspension settings. It also gets a new translucent two-gallon fuel tank. Hallelujah! It’s the little things like this make a big difference for the off-roader. But where are those hand guards?
So far we’re loving the Beta for its tractable motor and fun size. We’ll have a more detailed report on the 2016 Beta 350 RR in a near future issue of Cycle News magazine. For now though, check out the video below.
