According to team manager Antti Kallonen, after riding the new KTM 250 SXF Factory Edition at a sprint enduro the week before, Kailub Russell will debut the new bike in national competition at this weekend’s Kenda AMA National Enduro race in Park Hills, Missouri, the Lead Belt National.

The 250 SXF Factory Edition, which is the same 2015.5 model that Marvin Musquin rode to the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series East Regional 250 SX title, of course, has had a few modifications to make it competitive in off-road competition.

“With the success that Marvin had we wanted to give it a try in off-road competition, so Kailub rode it and really liked so we are going to debut it in this weekend’s national enduro series,” said Kallonen.

“Obviously, our engine is our factory services engine with a few off-road modifications,” added Kallonen. “We have put an 18” rear wheel on it and changed to the FMF exhaust to one with a spark arrestor. And then we changed a few of the components that Russell likes from his old bike like the bars and the forks. The shock is obviously different, so we have a factory shock on this with a new setting.”
