Four-time National Enduro Champ Russell Bobbitt will see action this weekend for the first time since breaking his kneecap at the series opener of the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series in Pelion, South Carolina, on March 2. The Factory Racing Husqvarna rider will compete in Sunday’s Little Brown Jug National Enduro in Union, South Carolina, round nine of the 10-round series, and will be riding a four-stroke for the first time, Husqvarna’s FC350. According to Russ, this is the longest period he’s gone without racing.

Also making an appearance at the Little Brown Jug will be the complete N-Fab/Am Pro Yamaha team: Brad Bakken, Paul Whibley, Josh Strang, Jordan Ashburn and Ricky Russell. Only Bakken is a regular with the enduro series, while Whibley, Ashburn, Strang and Russell compete in the GNCC series.

Factory Off-road Racing Husqvarna’s Andrew DeLong holds a 17-point lead in the Kenda AMA National Enduro point standings heading into this weekend’s race, while Maxxis/Klim/DirtWise KTM’s Jesse Groemm and AirGroup Racing’s Nick Fahringer sit second and third in the points, respectively.
