Round six of the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship was visited Buchanan, Michaigan for the Red Bull sponsored RedBud National. The riders and fans were treated to mild summer weather, which seemed to lead to increased intensity on the track.

In the 450 Class, Red Bull KTM’s Ken Roczen made a statement with an impressive 1-1 performance for the overall. Roczen worked his way through the field in the first moto after a bad start and then took the lead relatively early in moto two. GEICO Honda’s Eli Tomac took second overall via 4-2 finishes. Ryan Dungey was third with 3-3 moto scores.

In the 250 Class, Yamahalube, Star Racing Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin made a statement of his own with 1-2 moto scores and opened his points lead as Cooper Webb and Blake Bagget both had issues in at least one moto. Red Bull KTM’s Marvin Musquin took second via 4-3 moto scores and Rocstar KTM’s Jason Anderson took third via 3-4 finishes.
