National Enduro: Mike Lafferty Honored With NEPG Tribute Dinner

The National Enduro Promotions Group announced today that it is hosting a tribute dinner to celebrate the career of eight-time National Enduro Champion Mike Lafferty, who is in his 20th and final season as a professional motorcycle racer. Lafferty has over 70 national wins since 1997, and will be retiring at the end of the 2014 season.

The tribute dinner will be held on Saturday night, September 13th at the final round of the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series at the Muddobbers National Enduro in Matthews Indiana, which is the following day, September 14th. The dinner will be from 5-7pm at the Matthews Covered Bridge, and it will be hosted by the legendary Larry Maiers. Mike’s 1997 championship bike along with his 2014 race bike will be on display. Also a highlight video of Mike’s career and a host of guest speakers like Dick Burleson, Jon Eric Burleson, Randy Hawkins, Robbie Jenks and Matt Stavish just to name a few.

If you would like to take part in the tribute dinner you can go to the national enduro website and purchase a ticket for $17 by and you will also receive an autograph card like is shown above at the door. You can also purchase a ticket at the NEPG registration trailer at any of the next 4 National Enduros.
