Another schedule change to the 2014 AMA Pro Flat Track schedule was announced today by AMA Pro Racing – The Santa Rosa Mile will be replaced by the Calistoga Half-Mile. Originally scheduled in Santa Rosa for Sunday afternoon on September 28, the series will now race at the nearby Calistoga Speedway on Saturday night, September 27.

The series returns to Calistoga after a two-year absence. Joining forces to promote the event on its return the historic venue are Steve De Lorenzi of SDI Insulation, Terry Otton of Ramspur Winery and Chris Morgan of Motorsports Ventures.

In addition to the race action, the event will also feature a vintage race bike display. And serving as the Calistoga Half-Mile’s Grand Marshal will be California flat track legend Eddie Mulder.

The release did not state why the Santa Rosa Mile was cancelled, stating “unforeseen circumstances” that forced the cancellation.
