GEICO Honda is reporting today that Eli Tomac suffered a broken collarbone yesterday while preparing for this weekend’s Monster Energy AMA Supercross race in Las Vegas. Obviously, Tomac will miss the final round tomorrow night in Sam Boyd Stadium.

According to the team, Tomac is getting the collarbone plated and he expects to compete in all of the outdoor motocross rounds.

This is an unfortunate end to a 2014 supercross season that has been plagued by injury from the first race of the season at Anaheim I where Tomac fell and injured his shoulder.
