National Enduro: Zach Ingram Signs With Obermeyer Suzuki

Zach Ingram made his first ride on a Suzuki this past weekend at the Lead Belt National Enduro in Park Hills, Missouri, after signing last week with Obermeyer Suzuki to ride the balance of the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series on a factory-backed RM-Z450.

Ingram, who finished 13th overall in the 65-mile race, had less than an hour on the bike when he arrived at the Missouri venue and spent most of the day getting accustomed to his new ride.

“This was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up,” said the Ft. Smith, Arkansas resident. “I got the call, and they said they were looking to fill the spot and wanted to know if I wanted it. It was a pretty easy decision.”

Ingram currently sits 13th overall in the series standings, but hopes to move up with more time on the bike.

“I’m pretty excited with the deal and I’m looking forward to the rest of the series,” said Ingram. “Hopefully, I can work my way up the stadings.”

Obermeyer Suzuki is a major player in the national enduro series and backed Charlie Mullins when he won his first title in 2010. Mullins, who now rides for FMF/KTM, took the win in the Missouri race, followed by AirGroup Racing’s Nick Fahringer and Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Andrew DeLong.
