KTM Red Bull Team rider Dean Ferris suffered an injury while practicing that will keep him out of action until at least the start of the outdoor National series.

Ferris, who is currently contending the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series in the 250 West division, went down while practicing at home in Australia. He broke his wrist in the fall which required surgery. There is a chance that he won’t be back until a few rounds into the AMA National MX Series.

Ferris, who came from the FIM World MX GP circuit and was looking forward to the outdoor Nationals, is currently 10th in the 250 West Supercross Championship.
