Cycle News Staff | January 21, 2014

The Tech 3 MotoGP team must be starting to feel snake bit. For the second time in less than a year, the team has found itself cleaning itself out of a lot of water. The first time was the day before the start of the Grand Prix of The Americas in Austin, Texas, in April when their pit garage caught fire, the sprinkler system doing its job in saving their equipment but consequently flooding the garage. Now their team headquarters and race shop in France has been badly damaged by a flood.

Located in southern France, the Tech 3 shop and its racing equipment suffered damage on Sunday with heavy rains in the area causing a river to overflow and flood the race shop.

The team is currently preparing for the first MotoGP test of the 2014 season on February 4 on Malaysia.
