AURORA, Ill. (December 23, 2013) – Feld Motor Sports and MX for Children announced today the return of the Jackpot Challenge fundraiser for the 2014 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, season. Incentive prizes have been added to provide opportunities for participation at every stop for Monster Energy Supercross season, including a top tier award level that brings fundraisers to Las Vegas for the ultimate backstage pass to the finale of supercross.

“We reorganized our Jackpot Challenge to allow more people to participate in the unique, behind-the-scenes experience at supercross,” said Paul Gross, founder of MX for Children. “Now the kids that do the hard work for our charity have a chance to be recognized and rewarded at every level of fundraising.”

MX for Children’s Jackpot Challenge – truly the ultimate backstage pass to the 2014 Monster Energy Supercross season – rewards qualifying fundraisers with unique individual opportunities as well as the chance to root for their favorite Monster Energy Supercross teams. Recognition now starts at the $25 fundraising level and culminating at the $5,000 Grand Prize level, with VIP trips for two available to these fundraisers to the Las Vegas supercross finale.

The MX for Children Jackpot Challenge raises funds to cure the childhood brain condition called hydrocephalus, which is the #1 reason for brain surgery in children.  MX for Children has raised more than $630,000 for nine children’s hospitals coordinating research efforts into the condition since it was founded in 2006. The group of researchers has already made significant improvements in the treatment of kids with this condition using these funds.  All donations are tax deductible and pass through the Hydrocephalus Association, a 501(c)(3), which distributes the donations to the following children’s hospitals: Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital of Alabama, British Columbia’s Children’s Hospital, Houston’s Texas Children’s, Nashville’s Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital, Pittsburgh’s Children’s Hospital, Salt Lake City’s Primary Children’s, Seattle Children’s, St. Louis Children’s, and Toronto’s SickKids Hospital. Jackpot Challenge participants also can root for one of their favorite Jackpot Challenge Teams.
