Three-time AMA Superbike Champion Josh Hayes will make his World Endurance debut in the 24 Hours of Le Mans on September 21-22. Hayes, who is currently 16 points behind his teammate Josh Herrin in the battle for the 2013 AMA Superbike title, will ride a factory Yamaha R1 for the Monster Yamaha YART team.

Hayes will team with Australian Broc Parkes, Slovenia’s Igor Jerman and South African Sheridan Morais. The Suzuki team consists of Vincent Philippe, Anthony Delhalle and Julien De Costa.

Jason Pridmore will be the other American in the series finale, the Californian riding for the BMW-mounted Penz13.com team in the Superstock class. Pridmore will be joined by Pedro Vallcaneras, Steve Mercer and Herve Gantiner as they try to win the Superstock world title. The Penz13 team currently leads the class by 11 points over Team Motors Events April Moto.
